Kathe Turner's Biography:
Kathe Turner was born on January 06.1983 in Annaberg-Buchholz, Germany. Kathe Turner lived her first years in eastern Germany. She lived in a beautiful house with an adjacent, " Guesthouse" with a large garden parcel. Her mother was the director of this Guesthouse, and had been overseeing this Guesthouse from the time she was 19 years of age. And it was in this Guesthouse that her parents met each other before Kathe was born. And it was also here they shared their first years together. Kathe's father had his own firm working as a Discjockey and in his learned trade as a roofer with a masters Degree.
Kathe Turner attended the Riesenburg basic School of Annaberg-Bucholz and then went to the district Gymnasium. At the young age of 7 she discovered her passion for the art of painting. From the year 2000 on her parents provided her an apprenticeship at the Heitec Acadamy private school, in Chemnitz Germany. The main push in this apprenticeship was laid on Art, Graphic and Design. This was followed up with an expertise training in Design and Art in the year 2003.
Right after that Kathe established herself as an active, productive artist in Febuary of the year 2004. She by then already had exhibitions in Chemnitz and her works can also be found in her own Gallery that she has established in Königswalde, since Oktober 2005.
What makes Kathe Turner's works unique is her lifelong devotion to Art. It is her wish to capture the uniqueness and complexities of life in her paintings. That's why when you look at her paintings they seem so lifelike and authentic.Back
